WASHINGTON FLATS HISTORY
The Washington Building was built in 1913-1914 for the Fraternal Reserve Association which was architecturally significant to Oshkosh because it is a good example of the Neoclassical style that was popular in the first part of the twentieth century. The building was designed by Oshkosh architect Henry Auler. Auler, who had been employed by the well known William Waters & Son for many years, founded his own firm in 1907.
The mosaic tile floors, marble wainscoting, slate stairs and oak finish throughout the building make this a unique opportunity to have the best of both worlds of historical & upscale finishings. Washington Place consists of four 1 Bedroom units, fourteen 2 Bedroom units, and two 3 Bedroom units.
